1.“I have delivered…”
And we don’t mean pizzas when you were 16! We love to know the hard facts, as it makes our decision much simpler.
Being able to clearly show evidence of key outcomes is a brilliant way to enhance your professional profile. Whilst many people think that adding statistics on to your CV is just for those that work in finance, you can discuss projects that you have completed or profits that you have helped to build.
Clearly setting out your professional achievements helps us to trust you as a professional.
2. “I am reliable because…”
Demonstrating that you are a consistently reliable employee is almost a guarantee that recruiters will take your application more seriously.
We love to know that we have a candidate that our client can rely on, so by adding in this small phrase with evidence of your consistency puts you in a great position.
3.“I have transferrable skills in…”
We see numerous candidates trying to match the job description to the letter. However, this can really put us off applications as they come across as ingenuine.
Instead of making that mistake, write about how your existing skills can translate to different roles. That shows us that you are a savvy thinker and that you can maturely change your application to suit the role that you are applying for.
